The club are staging their first ever Sportsman’s Evening at Homers Heath on Thursday 27th November when Norman Whiteside will be the guest speaker.
Buckland 1st Team club to 2nd place in the SWPL premier Division table after a 5-2 win away at Elburton Villa, Gavin Hammon scores a hat-trick in that game.
Buckland 2nd team win away at East Allington 2-1 to remain top of South Devon league Division Two.
The annual Firework and Bonfire evening will take place on Sunday 2nd November at Homers Heath.

Buckland Athletic stage their first ever Sportsman’s Evening which will be held at the Homers Heath clubhouse on Thursday 27th November 2008. The guest speaker for the evening will be former Manchester United and Northern Ireland footballer Norman Whiteside. Other entertainment includes comedian-Stuart Masters, a Charity Auction (Including signed Pele Shirt), Irish Bingo.

Buckland Athletic’s 1st Team’s Throgmorton Cup 2nd Round tie at home to Ivybridge Town on Tuesday 14th October will kick off at 7.15pm and not 7.30pm as previously stated.
Buckland Athletic’s annual Bonfire and Firework night will be held on Sunday 2nd November 2008 at the clubs Homers Heath ground. Priced at £5 for a family of our four (2 adults and 2 children), additional Adults £2/children £1. Bar and Piggy’s Pantry open for food and drink. Guy Fawkes competition. Bonfire lit at 6pm with the fireworks being let off between 6.30 and 7pm. Come along to this fantastic evening, which is fun for all the family.
Buckland Athletic’s 1st team climb to second in the SWPL Premier Division table after they won away at Elburton Villa 5-2. Goals from Gavin Hammon 3, Roger Bonaparte and Luke Crowson secure the three points.
Buckland Reserves 100% remains in the South Devon League Division Two after
they made it four win from four games with a 2-1 win away at East Allington.
