Neil Montandon Goalkeeper
DOB: 8-7-77
Previous Clubs: Newton Abbot, Dartmouth
This is Neil’s second full season in Buckland colours; he joined
towards the end of the 2006-07 season. He has been outstanding up
till now, pulling off many great saves. He made 32 league appearances
last season. Has vast experience and scored the final Devon League
goal . |

Ben Williamson Defender DOB: 4-6-77
Previous Clubs: Ottery St Mary, Newton Spurs, Porthleven
This is Ben’s second full season with the club. He is the First
team captain, he is a very experienced player and he made 30 league
appearances last term scoring twice. He marshals the defence with
good communication, is strong in the tackle. Was with Buckland in
our Junior days. |

Marc Revell Defender DOB: 11-7-81
Previous Clubs: Bovey Tracey.
Marc has had two spells with the club and he made 29 league appearances
scoring five times last season, has made 112 appearances for Buckland,
scoring nine times in his two spells. Marc is a strong defender with
pace who opened our goal account in the new SWPL Premier division. |

Danny Gaze Midfielder DOB: 25-8-81
Previous Clubs: St Blazey, Launceston, Totnes & Dartington. Danny joined us from Launceston at the beginning of last season, made
20 league appearances scoring 5 goals before being posted to Afghanistan
with the services towards the end of the season. He was missed in
the run in, his silky skills and turn of pace is enough to worry any
defender. |

Liam Drew Defender DOB: 31-1-88
Previous Clubs: Plymouth Argyle. This is Liam’s second full season with the club. When he got
the chance a few games into the season he secured the right back spot
as his own. Improved throughout the season, making 29 league appearances.
Won Players Player and Young Player of the year awards at the end
of season presentation. A former Plymouth Argyle apprentice has good
quality on the ball. |

Miles Pegley Forward/Midfield
DOB: 13-11-76
Previous Clubs: Ottery St Mary, Newton Abbot. Miles is another who joined last season and he brought with him a
vast amount of Devon League experience. Miles is a very cultured footballer
with good use of both feet. Made 28 league appearances last season
scoring five times and he is another player who made the 100 goal
achievement in the Devon League, scoring 123 goals in total. |

Ross Bellotti Keeper
Previous Clubs: Exeter City, Newton Spurs, Dartmouth. Ross has again joined from Newton Spurs, will by fighting it out with
Monty for the 1st Team keeper’s shirt. Ross is a talented keeper
but after signing last season only played in a couple of the pre-season
friendlies. |

Grant Leslie Midfielder DOB: 25-3-83
Previous club: Ottery St Mary Joined us the previous season from Ottery
St Mary. Didn’t feature much in the early games last season,
but as the season progressed he made the central midfield berth his
own with some outstanding performances. Ended up making 25 league
appearances, only needs to add a goal scoring touch to his game. Was
the Manager’s Player of the Year at the end of season presentations.

Gavin Hammon Forward DOB: 2-10-87
Previous Clubs: Chudleigh Athletic, Ottery St Mary. After getting
over his nasty leg break the previous season, Gavin came good again
last tem. He made 33 league appearances scoring 15 goals, he also
scored 3 cup goals. If you give him any time or space he will find
the target. Just twenty years old there is more to come from Gavin
I’m sure. |

Tom Sercombe Striker
Previous Clubs: Newton Spurs, Ipplepen Athletic. Tom has once again
rejoined Buckland This season, did start with us last season but left
as the season got going. Looking much fitter and leaner this season
in the pre-season friendllies. Should make a good partnership with
young Gavin. Has made over 80 appearances for the club in three spells
with us. |

Paul Froude Midfield
Previous Clubs: Newton Spurs. Paul has joined us from Newton Spurs
over the summer months. Has previously made 18 appearances for the
Buck’s. A very talented midfielder with good feet, will make
a good partner along side Grant in the middle of the park. |

Roger Bonaparte Forward
Previous Clubs: Vospers Oak Villa, Plymstock United. He is a big centre
forward and even though he might not make it into the starting line
up this season, he will do a fine job once called upon. Asked to join
lasts season but left it until now to sign.

Matt Beer Forward
Previous Clubs: Newton Spurs. Matt has also joined us from neighbours
Newton Spurs over the summer. A very talented youngster who knows
where the back of the net is. The management team have high hopes
for Matt.

Karl Green Defender DOB: 25-10-89
Another youngster with bags of talent and should go far in this game.
Karl was mainly used by the Reserves last season, but will be looking
to fight for a 1st Team place in this coming season. |

Phil Bayliss Manager DOB: 16-3-67
Previous Clubs: Newton Spurs, Saltash United. Phil has been with the
club since it’s Devon and Exeter Days, and has been manager
of the First team our entire life in the Devon League (apart from
1/2 a season). A prolific marksmen in his day. |

Jamie Carwardine Manager
Previous Clubs:Jamie is in his second full season with the club and
he a Baylo work well together as a team. Jamie has lot’s of
experience he has brought to the club as well as a lot of enthusiasm. |
